ROOFtileGUARD RTC-100L (light colors) and RTC-500D (dark colors) INFRASHIELD ROOF TILE COATING is a single component, top quality acrylic polymer combined with IR pigments for use over properly prepared concrete roof tiles and other surfaces. This INFRASHIELD product creates a weather proof seal that resists sun and rain and effectively increases the reflectivity over non-IR colors. This proprietary chemistry blocks the energy from the unseen infrared spectrum from the sun. Half of the energy (heat) from the sun is transmitted through the unseen infrared rays and this is the energy that INFRASHIELD blocks. Because infrared energy is invisible, the color your eye sees looks the same but INFRASHIELD colors are dramatically cooler than the same color made from traditional color chemistry. Some darker colors are up to eight times more reflective than traditional color chemistry.

ROOFtileGUARD is also available in traditional color chemistry. These are RTC-200L (light colors) and RTC-300D (dark colors).

BASIC USES

ROOFtileGUARD is recommended for use on aging concrete roof tiles that are losing their original color or any non-glazed roof tile where the original color is not desirable or a more energy efficient, reflective color is required. RTC is used on schools, offices, warehouses, commercial buildings, shopping centers and residences. RTC complies with VOC content limits as required by current Air Pollution Regulation on Architectural Coatings.

ROOFtileGUARD RTC used in our proprietary system with CS2 PRIMER and GS2 GLAZE COAT can restore the appearance of your old and aging tile roof for up to half the cost of a new roof and it is the “GREENEST” and most economical solution to your roofing need.
